Wizards of the Coast has just put a preview up for its new set of D&D miniatures, "Dangerous Delves." The preview features a new Beholder, concepted by yours truly. There have been four Beholders produced in the range and I have been lucky enough to design three of them. The Beholder Lich from the Unhallowed set, the Eye of Flame from Dungeons of Dread and the new one. I love designing these miniatures and hopefully will get to design many more.
LUCKY! :)
ReplyDeleteTo get 3 of 4, impressive. These are looking great. I hope you plan on posting your drawings for these. Actually, I would love to see your whole turnaround sets for these (and any of your other mini designs).
I love working on miniatures... though I must say I have not done much lately. Need to see what I can do about that...
Lucky?....Yeah!!!
ReplyDeleteI've added the drawings in to the post now Chris, except the turnarounds for the newest one, which I will do when it hits the streets.
I'll be posting more mini designs as the blog progresses, so stay tuned :)
Ask and you shall receive! Great drawings. The Lich turned out very nice. Looking forward to see more of you turnarounds.
