Tha Work Thang #58: Omens of the Pharoah.

Here is a recently released piece I did for the, "Omens of the Pharaoh" expansion for the "Elder Sign" game by Fantasy Flight Games. This was for one of the cards in the game depicting an eerie wall mural of the dark pharaoh himself.

Tha Work Thang #57: Two New Fifth Edition Fantasy Adventures.

Hi everyone! About time I posted something new up here. Goodman Games has just announced the next two covers in their Fifth Edition Fantasy range and I had the pleasure of doing the cover art for these. They are #12: The Forgotten Hive and #13:Mystery under the Monastery.

As usual, these were great fun to do and I am looking forward to painting the next batch in the series shortly.

Tha Work Thang #56: Realms of Terrinoth !

Happy New Year everyone! So, Fantasy Flight Games just announced their RPG source book, the "Realms of Terrinoth".

Realms of Terrinoth explores the world of Mennara featured in Runewars Miniatures Game, Legacy of Dragonholt, Descent: Journeys in the Dark, and Runebound. As a fantasy campaign setting for your games of Genesys, Realms of Terrinoth also features many races, weapons, gear, careers, and more—all of which can be found in the world of Terrinoth and expanded to any fantasy setting you create as the Game Master.

Realms of Terrinoth gives you all the tools you need to create or dive into adventures set in the world of Mennara. Between unique character options, a hoard of new gear and weapons, and enough background information to populate any play session, no one can say for sure what awaits the brave adventures who dare enter the realm of Terrinoth!
 I was lucky enough to do a number of colour pieces in a stained glass kind of style for this sourcebook and was really pleased with how they turned out. Look for it in your favourite game shop in the second quarter 2018!

Tha Work Thang #55: Legacy of Dragonholt

"Fantasy Flight Games is pleased to announce a new cooperative narrative game in Legacy of Dragonholt! The first game to use the Oracle system, Legacy of Dragonholt contains six quests set in the Runebound universe that take as many as six daring heroes to the outskirts of Terrinoth. Adventurers build their own stories by making choices that will lead into dark caves and dangerous forests, pit them against cunning bandits and vicious monsters, earn them wealth and fame, and hopefully bring them to foil the plot of an evil overlord."

I was lucky enough to illustrate a bunch of the black and white card illustrations, three of which can be seen above. Also, the colour plates that adorn the front of each adventure pamphlet in the game. these were all done in a stylised, stained glass window style and were  great fun to do.

Tha Work Thang #54: The Archmage's Lost Hideaway.

Hi Everyone! Apologies for the lack of posts, it has been a very busy year in the Griffith household.

I am pleased to be able to show the cover art I painted for Goodman Games' "The Archmage's Lost Hideaway"

This, I think, is one of my favourite pieces. Just something about Beholders that captures my imagination, and undead ones are even better.

This is number 11 in the Fifth Edition Fantasy line and I hope there will be many more to come.
