Tha Work Thang #64: Empire of the East 5E and "Sectrets of Mistcutter Isle."

Hi guys and gals! I have a couple of new pieces of cover art to show you, commissioned by the lovely folks over at Goodman Games.

We have Fifth Edition Fantasy #17 : Secrets of Mistcutter Isle, written by Rick Maffei.
This is my 13th cover in this line of adventure modules, the first four were illustrated by Ben Wootten, of Lord of the Rings fame. Recently they have requested more monsters for the covers and I have found that subconsciously I have been pulling back the camera from the usual head shot to show more of the body of the creatures. I like the vibrancy of this one.

The second cover is for "Empire of the East" 5E, inspired by the novels of Fred Saberhagen, which I am reading my way through at the moment. A mix of high fantasy and post apocalyptic tech. This cover was recently teased at GenCon 2019 by Joseph Goodman and has just gone up on to their website.

Tha Work Thang #63: The Cave of the Unknown

Here is another cover for Goodman Games' "Fifth Edition Fantasy" line of adventure modules.
This one is called, "The Cave of the Unknown".
As you can see from the cover you are going to run in to some rather big spiders at some point!

The Cave of the Unknown is an old-fashioned dungeon crawl designed for modern fifth-edition game mechanics. It is intended for a party of four to six 3rd-level PCs. The adventure can be easily inserted into any campaign or used as part of the Into the Borderlands reprint.

In this adventure, the party explores the eponymous Cave, a network of natural caverns housing the Primordial Spring, a font of primeval power. The Spring was previously used by the alchemist Zoorl looking to complete his magnum opus, the Azoth Stone, an object capable of bestowing immense wealth and longevity on its owner. If the adventurers are lucky, they might be able to capitalize on the alchemist’s life’s work.

Fifth Edition Fantasy #16: The Cave of the Unknown is a level 3 adventure for 5e, written by Michael Curtis and a cover by David Griffith. It is scheduled for release on June 17th, 2019.

Tha Work Thang #61: The Dwarves Of Glistenveld

Hi guys! So, here is some art from a side project I have been working on for the last year or so.
It is for, "The Dwarves of Glistenveld", a PC game soon to be released  on Steam. This has been produced with much love, but practically zero budget by Nysko Games, a local (to me) indie games company.

I have been Lead Artist on the game and have produced concept art, art for cut-scenes, U.I. art, pixel art, promo art... well lots of art stuff! and it has been great fun.

The Dwarves of Glistenveld is a Real-Time Strategy game in which you control a clan of dwarves as they fight to retake their homeland from a horde of goblins. Driven underground, help them explore the unknown as you mine, forage, build and fight your way through a forgotten underworld!

We have recently made the game available to wishlist on Steam, so please, check it out and help spread the word on the game.

Until next time, may your Braids grow long and your Beards grow proud.
